Corporate CA life or glitzy college life, this has been one of the toughest career choice faced by commerce students. Here we have evaluated the two most prominent Courses after 12th commerce stream.
- HOW INTERESTING LIFE IS!
Most of the CA students generally feel like doing the same job (going tuitions and coming back home) again and again. The course gets monotonous after a certain point of time. While in a regular college, there is always something happening in the ways of interactive sessions, events and cultural fests which give the students an opportunity to go beyond “just studies” and undertake problem solving in dynamic situations.
- KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED
Chartered accountancy is a complete blend of theoretical knowledge as well as practical training. It provides valuable knowledge of various fields of finance. This level of knowledge can’t be accumulated at college level in a UG course.
- HOW EASY IS THE PATH
As seen in the past years, effective rate of students who ultimately clear CA Final level is around 0.6% (30% in CPT, 20% in IPCC, 10% in CA Final). As a result, most of the students who fail to clear the examinations in one go, end up appearing for the exams again and again. Whereas in a regular college (whether DU, IP or any other well-known national universities), the pass percentage is somewhere around 90%.
- FUTURE PROSPECTS
A chartered accountant has the option to work as an employee or start with his own practice or start-up whereas a college graduate has less such prospects.
- EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Unlike in college, there is a lack of opportunities for extra -curricular activities and other essential exposure to team-work activities in CA. As a result, a typical CA student may lack communication and networking skills. So if you wish to enjoy and learn all this while
